CHA’s Motion to Refer to Administrative Hearings

On Aug. 13, 2007, the Coastal Habitat Alliance filed a motion to refer the Kenedy Co. wind project to the State Office of Administrative Hearings.

  1. The application for the transmission line raises a number of complex issues surrounding the environment and community values.
  2. Compliance with the Coastal Management Program for the transmission line and wind project raises a number of complex issues that require a contested case process.
