CHA Files Two Suits To Ensure Legally Required Oversight Of Wind Energy Development On Texas Gulf Coast

Since we formed in June 2007, one of CHA's primary goals has been to make sure that the proposed wind project in Kenedy County included two things: public involvement and a scientific environmental impact study to analyze the project's potential impact on the Laguna Madre's sensitive wetlands and wildlife. To that end, today we filed lawsuits in state and federal court to halt the proposed wind project in Kenedy County until those two criteria are met.
